Chat Bubbles

As the name suggests, Chat Bubble allows you to show a floating chat bubble which, when clicked, initiates a scroll box or pop-up (with one or multiple steps).This can help increase visitor engagement, email subscribers and sales conversion rates.

Creating a Chat Bubble Widget #

Once you have connected your website to Convertful, go to the “Widgets” tab and click on “Create Widget”. 

You will be taken to our Template Library. Select “Chat Bubbles”. We offer 2 types of Chat Bubbles: Scroll Boxes and Pop-Ups. Hover over the template that you like and a button will appear for you to “Create Scroll Box” or “Create Pop-Up”.

A Chat Bubble is usually made up of 2 parts: a small floating action button that once clicked upon opens up the main form (Offer) appears.

You can edit the widget and customize it as required, including changing the image by uploading your own image.

If the main form is closed without submitting, it will minimize back to the floating button, allowing visitors to return to the offer at anytime. If the form is submitted, the floating action button will disappear. Consequently the Display Rules for Chat Bubbles is fixed for the form to appear once the visitor clicks the floating action button. This cannot be changed.
