Countdown Timers

Fear of missing out, or FOMO, can be leveraged in your CTAs to increase subscriptions and sales. One of the best ways to do this is to use a countdown timer. This will create urgency. If time is running out, you’ll want to get it now.

To add a countdown timer to your widget, simply click on the “Elements” section of the Widget Editor, click on the “Countdown timer” icon, drag and drop it to where you want it to appear on your widget.

Countdown Timers are fully customizable. You can choose the background color, digit color and font size. You can also set when the countdown timer will end:

• On a given moment

• After a given duration

• Same as another countdown timer

You can also set what will happens once the timer ends: 

• Do Nothing
• Close the Widget
• Redirect to URL.

Note, that a timer set to close the widget when the countdown ends will block the widget from appearing again as well.
