Google ReCAPTCHA
With Convertful, you can add Google reCAPTCHA to your widgets to help you detect abusive bot traffic and increase lead quality. Simply follow the guide below to set up up the connection.
Connecting Google ReCAPTCHA #
Log into your Google Account and go to https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/intro and click on Get Started.
Register a new site if you are just starting to use reCAPTCHA. Otherwise, continue by filling in the Label, reCAPTCHA type (v2 or v3), Domains and select the relevant Google Cloud Project.
Note: If you would would like to be able to preview the reCAPTCHA on your Convertful widget prior to making the widget live, you will need to add the domain http://app.convertful.com as well.
Once added, accept the Re-CAPTCHA terms and click on Submit.
Copy Site Key and Secret Key and store it for later use.
Log into your Convertful account and go to the Settings tab. Click on Captcha Settings.
Toggle on the the Enable Google reCAPTCHA button.
Select reCAPTCHA type and input the Site Key and Secret Key that you created earlier and click on Save Changes. You will now be able to add Google reCAPTCHA to your widgets.
Adding reCAPTCHA #
Create your widget and add the Form Fields to your widget. Under the Form Fields Settings, click on Add Field and select reCAPTCHA.
You can select the theme and size of the reCAPTCHA as required.
Save your widget and that's it. Now visitors to your site will see the reCAPTCHA field as part of your widget.
